Laurie French is Lakota. A geopolitical line between the United States and Mexico separates her family. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, she decides to cross the border to the lands where her ancestors celebrated the Solstice Ceremony. Getting to the Aguaje de la Tuna Reserve in Mexico will not be easy. The travel restrictions make the route a magical journey. She only has one goal: in the middle of the dance, she will make a healing prayer in the Sweat House ritual.
