This film is the story of two activists crossing paths. In the Brazilian state of Bahia, 26-year-old Hamangai is an active indigenous advocate for her people’s environment and right to live. Anita, a biologist, has been fighting for over 40 years to preserve Brazilian primary forests. In a convergence of struggles and generations, they make each other grow and renew their faith in the fight for ecological justice and a more sustainable future.
