Also known as the “Little Rome”, Mérida was one of the most important cities of the Roman Empire in the Iberian Peninsula. Its architecture ranges from impressive Roman monuments such as the theatre to modern creations such as the Lusitania bridge, which make its outdoor life, accompanied by the local gastronomy, a great experience.
